Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs: Green Mountain Pet Portraits will be a participating vendor Sunday, September 12, 2010 when Shelburne Museum and Pet Food Warehouse proudly present the zaniest, wildest, biggest dog party on the planet! Bring your fur bearing, four legged best friend for a day dedicated to dogs.
This year’s theme is the circus! Here are just some of the amazing happenings in store:
• Grand circus parade with costume judging and awards
• Masterful MC Woody Keppel with Junior and Bella
• Riotous entertainment by Waldo and Woodhead and comedy clown Tom Murphy
• Lively live music by the Milton Community Band
• Dog gone good demonstrations by police dogs, hunting dogs and dancing dogs
• Flying disc dogs competing in the state championships
• Hilarous balloon animals
• Fantastic face painting
The whole affair benefits local animal rescue groups and humane societies.

October 10-11, 2009: Orvis Dog Days Weekend at the Orvis Flagship Store in Manchester, Ver mont. Green Mountain Pet Portraits had its display right inside the store for this fun-filled two-day event! It was a great time to mingle with so many dog lovers and their dogs amidst the peak of fall foliage season. |

October 3, 2009: Green Mountain Pet Portraits participated in the annual Addison County Humane Society's Woofstock event in Middlebury, Vermont and took part in a fundraising raffle, offering a free 8" x 10" Just Faces custom pet portrait worth $125! The lucky raffle winner was very pleased to receive the free portrait of her cat, Scholar in November. |

| September 13, 2009: For the second straight year Green Mountain Pet Portraits was a participating vendor at the Shelburne Museum Goes To The Dogs in Shelburne, Vermont! Shelburne Museum and main sponsor Pet Food Warehouse invited all dog lovers to the biggest dog party in Vermont! The day was filled with doggie activities from a the PAWsitively Vogue Fashion Show and Canine Costume Competition to working dog demos, dancing dogs, disc dogs. |

| August 1-31, 2009: Green Mountain Pet Portraits displayed three original pet portrait paintings at The Big Picture Theater and Café in Waitsfield, Vermont for Palettes for Paws, an animal inspired art auction to benefit the Central Vermont Humane Society. |

July 11, 2009: Green Mountain Pet Portraits was a participating vendor Vermont Scenic Cluster All Breed Dog Show at the Champl ain Valley Exposition Fairgrounds in Essex Junction, Vermont. This annual indoor show with obedience and rally trials is sponsored by the Champlain Valley Kennel Club, Green Mountain Kennel Club and Woodstock Kennel Club. The three day event had more than 1,000 entries from over 30 states and Canadian provinces! |

July 2 009: Green Mountain Pet Portraits completed Just Faces pet portraits as prizes for two happy recipients whose pets were first place (Monty, a Pekingese) and second place (Leeroy, a Bichon Frise) winners in the Burlington Free Press 2009 Pet Idol Contest. Their portraits can be seen on the Just Faces page. |

| October 4, 2008: Green Mountain Pet Portraits participated in a fundraising raffle of a free pet portrait at the Addison County Humane Society's Woofstock event in Middlebury, VT. ACHS raised at least $16,500! The lucky winner has been selected and will soon receive a custom JUST FACES Series portrait of their pet worth $125! The lucky raffle winner was very pleased to receive her free Just Faces series custom portrait of her cat, Toucan, in mid November.
September 14, 2008: Green Mountain Pet Portraits was a participating vendor at the annual Shelburne Museum Goes to the Dogs event in Shelburne, VT. Our display of pet paintings drew lots of onlookers of the human and canine variety. Event co-presenter: Pet Food Warehouse.
August 16, 2008: Green Mountain Pet Portraits participated as a raffle vendor at the NCAL's (North Country Animal League) annual Pedal for Paws ride for the animals event in Stowe, VT! The lucky raffle winners were very pleased to receive their free Just Face series custom portrait of their Yellow Lab, Clifford, in early October.
June 8, 2008: Green Mountain Pet Portraits participated in a raffle for a free pet portrait at the Humane Society of Chittenden County's Walk for the Animals event at Burlington's Battery Park. Over $57,000 was raised! See a video of the event presented by Seven Days VT here. The lucky raffle winner was very pleased to receive a 12"x16" custom portrait of her two cats, Chia and Ella, presented at the shelter on July 29.
